Kitchen Assistant – Part Time

We are hiring three part-time Kitchen Assistants to join our busy takeaway team. Each role offers 18 hours per week, consisting of three fixed 6-hour shifts. These are stable weekly hours ideal for anyone looking for consistent part-time work.

• Tuesday: 17:00 – 23:00

• Saturday: 11:00 – 17:00
• Sunday: 11:00 – 17:00
• Wednesday: 17:00 – 23:00

Position 3
• Friday: 17:00 – 23:00
• Saturday: 17:00 – 23:00
• Sunday: 17:00 – 23:00

Role Overview

You will support our chefs with food preparation, cleaning, organisation, and maintaining high hygiene standards. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare ingredients and assist chefs with cooking tasks
• Keep kitchen areas clean, tidy, and sanitised
• Operate basic kitchen equipment (training provided)
• Wash up and complete end-of-shift cleaning
• Stock rotation, labelling, and general kitchen organisation
• Support packing orders during busy periods

What We’re Looking For
• Reliable, punctual, and hard-working
• Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential
• Food hygiene knowledge is a bonus (training can be provided)
