Role Overview

  • Casual, part-time role based at Holiday Inn York.

  • Support the kitchen team and ensure efficient back-of-house operations.

  • Reports directly to the Kitchen Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dishwashing: Clean all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.

  • Delivery Organisation: Receive and organise incoming food deliveries.

  • Storage Management: Maintain organised and accessible ingredient storage.

  • Waste Removal: Ensure prompt disposal of all waste safely.

  • Food Preparation: Assist chefs with basic prep tasks during busy periods.

  • Material Collection: Retrieve ingredients or tools as required by kitchen staff.
