The Chadderton Preparatory Grammar School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join our vibrant team. About the Position

  • Salary: Dependent on experience

  • Contract: Full-time, Permanent

  • Start Date: September 2026

  • Location: The Chadderton Preparatory Grammar (serving ages 2–11)

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that bring the KS2 curriculum to life and inspire intellectual curiosity.

  • Create a stimulating classroom environment where every child feels both encouraged and appropriately challenged.

  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents to ensure personalized support for every pupil.

  • Enhance the co-curricular program by bringing a specialism—specifically in creative arts or sport—to school clubs, trips, and events.


About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT status.

  • A genuine passion for fostering a love of learning in young children.

  • Creativity and energy, with a desire to contribute to a collaborative team spirit.

  • An interest or expertise in creative subjects (Art, Music, Drama) or Sport, and the enthusiasm to lead these areas within the wider school life.
