Junior IT Security Analyst

Summary:

The Service Desk Analyst will report to the Service Desk Manager and be assisted and guided by the Service Desk Specialists and the Senior Service Desk Specialist. The Service Desk Analyst will be the primary point of contact within the IT Service Desk and must have excellent customer service skills, the ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.

Junior IT Security Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to key security events that are classified as incidents
• Actively monitor and support internal and external systems infrastructure systems
• Monitor the threat landscape internally and externally and respond where necessary
• In the event of a cyber security incident, support the recovery of any affected processes and systems.
• Production of KPIs and reports where necessary

Junior IT Security Analyst

Attributes/Skills:
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Experience supporting Rapid 7/CrowdStrike/Okta
• At least 2 years experience in a fast paced environment
• Experience of logging tickets in ITSM call logging software
