Job Title: Jig Shop Worker

Location: East Hull Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM – 5:45 PM Pay Rate: £14.44 per hour (paid weekly)
About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Jig Shop Worker to join a busy manufacturing team. This role involves working with jigs and fixtures to assemble components accurately and efficiently, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assembly Work:
• Use jigs and templates to assemble frames, panels, and structural components.
• Ensure all parts are aligned and secured according to specifications.
• Quality Control:
• Check measurements and tolerances to maintain high standards.
• Report any defects or issues promptly.
• Tool & Equipment Handling:
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely.
• Maintain jigs and fixtures in good working condition.
• Health & Safety Compliance:
• Follow all site safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with other departments to meet production targets.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Skills & Experience Required:
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment (caravan or similar industry preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Understanding of health and safety practices.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
