The AA and Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) have joined forces to offer a unique opportunity for a Dedicated Technician to represent two of the world’s most iconic automotive brands. In this high-prestige role, you will be the face of JLR’s roadside assistance, combining the AA’s legendary rescue heritage with JLR’s cutting-edge engineering. We are looking for a technician who doesn’t just fix cars but delivers a “customer-first” experience that matches the luxury and performance of the vehicles they service.

What do I need?

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Confident, independent, and customer focused
Holds a full UK Cat B licence (max 6 points)

As a Jaguar Land Rover Dedicated Technician, you will operate as a mobile specialist, starting and ending your day from home in a fully equipped, manufacturer-branded van. You will take full ownership of the roadside experience, using JLR-specific diagnostic tools to handle everything from warranty work to advanced repairs. Your role is a blend of elite technical skill and sophisticated communication, ensuring that every prestige client receives a seamless service that gets them moving with confidence. This 40-hour-per-week position offers a competitive £37,155 base salary (OTE £50,000+) and includes industry-leading training to keep you at the forefront of automotive technology.

Technical Specialization

You will be working with some of the most advanced automotive systems on the market, including:

Terrain Response Systems: Calibrating and diagnosing Land Rover’s sophisticated 4×4 drive modes.
Hybrid & Electric (PHEV/BEV): Working on the latest electrified powertrains from Jaguar’s I-PACE and Range Rover lineups.
Manufacturer Diagnostics: Utilizing JLR-specific software for real-time fault finding and roadside software updates.
