Role Description

This is a contract on-site role for an Interim Head of SEND based in London. The Interim Head of SEND will be responsible for leading and managing the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) department. Key day-to-day tasks include overseeing SEND provision, implementing strategic plans, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislation, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver the highest standards of educational support. The Interim Head will also manage staff and resources efficiently to support students effectively.

Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of SEND policies, legislation, and best practices.
• Leadership, team management, and organizational skills, with an ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Experience in designing and implementing strategies to improve SEND services and outcomes.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and external stakeholders.
• Relevant qualifications in education, special needs management, or a related field are required.
• Experience in a similar role, particularly in a leadership capacity within the SEND area, is highly beneficial.
• A proactive and results-driven approach, with the ability to work independently and effectively under pressure.
