Job Title: Installations Technician
Locations: Hybrid – Covering areas of: Bristol or Reading or East Yorkshire
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday–Friday, with occasional evening or weekend work
At Kantar Media, we help shape how the world understands audiences. As a Field Technician, you’ll play a vital role in bringing cutting-edge TV and Broadband monitoring technology into homes across the UK. Reporting to the Field Technician Supervisor, you’ll be hands-on with installing and maintaining equipment, as well as supporting panel members to get the most out of our technology. If you’re tech-savvy, customer-focused, and ready to make an impact, this is the role for you!
What You’ll Do
• Install & Maintain: Set up metering equipment and software in panel homes, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
• Educate & Support: Show panel members how to use and care for their equipment confidently.
• Problem-Solve: Troubleshoot issues and escalate when needed to keep everything on track.
• Train & Empower: Provide clear training on Kantar equipment and software.
• Stay Organised: Log all field activity accurately and manage stock levels effectively.
• Represent Kantar Media: Deliver exceptional customer service and professionalism in every interaction.
• Keep Moving: Maintain your company vehicle and meet project deadlines with precision.
What We’re Looking For
• Experience in a customer-facing role and an interest in Computing, Audio Visual, or Telecoms.
• A good understanding of Broadband, Smartphones, and Tablets is a plus.
• Passion for modern technology and a desire to build a career in a unique, growing field.
• Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and deliver high standards.
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach – you’ll be the face of Kantar in our panel members’ homes.
