Implementation Migration Manager (AVP Level)

Barclays is seeking a dynamic Implementation Migration Manager to join our elite Client Outreach team in Knutsford. This is a pivotal role within our strategic digital agenda, where you will act as the bridge between complex legacy banking systems and our cutting-edge digital future.

As an Assistant Vice President (AVP), you will not just manage a transition; you will revolutionise the way our Corporate clients interact with us. You will be responsible for decommissioning complex legacy channels and successfully onboarding clients to digital self-serve platforms, ensuring that the customer journey remains seamless, sophisticated, and superior.

Key Responsibilities & Impact

• Strategic Migration: Lead large-scale programmes focused on transitioning Corporate clients from legacy environments to modern, “integrated solutions” and connectivity protocols.

• Client Advocacy & Communication: Distill high-level technical and operational concepts into clear, actionable narratives for diverse audiences, including C-suite stakeholders and technical teams.

• Personalized Resolution: Deliver a “white-glove” service experience, resolving complex inquiries regarding account balances, multi-layer transactions, and global payments.

• Process Innovation: Identify industry trends and internal bottlenecks to recommend and implement best-practice changes in customer care procedures and risk controls.

• Leadership & Influence: As an AVP, you will lead collaborative assignments, mentor colleagues through the “LEAD” framework (Listen, Energise, Align, Develop), and influence cross-functional decision-making to strengthen our control and governance agenda.

What You Bring to the Team

• Proven Track Record: Extensive experience in high-stakes project management and large-scale programme delivery.

• Technical Fluency: A strong grasp of connectivity protocols and messaging standards, with the ability to quickly master new technical concepts.

• Analytical Prowess: The ability to perform complex data analysis from multiple sources to solve problems creatively and mitigate operational risks.

• Corporate Acumen: Deep experience in Corporate Client Management, with a knack for managing expectations and aligning cross-functional goals.
