Key Responsibilities

Clinical Administration: Administer a range of essential vaccinations, including Hep B, MMR, and Varicella, to service users or staff.

Clinical Procedures: Perform precise venepuncture for blood testing and diagnostic purposes.

Emergency Readiness: Maintain peak readiness to manage anaphylaxis and provide Basic Life Support (BLS) if required.

Compliance & Updates: Ensure all vaccination records are meticulous and that your own certifications for immunisation updates are current.

Multi-Site Coordination: Travel between up to 17 designated sites across the Kent region to provide consistent clinical coverage.
Requirements and Skills

Professional Status: Must be a Registered Nurse (NMC) with recent clinical experience.

Clinical Specifics: Demonstrated experience (within the last 12 months) in administering Hep B, MMR, and Varicella vaccines.

Technical Proficiency: Must be highly confident in venepuncture (blood draws).

About the Role
This is a part-time, temporary position (3 days per week) with an initial duration of 3 months. It is an ideal role for an Occupational Health Nurse or a Practice Nurse looking to pick up additional shifts in a dynamic regional setting.
To ensure you are fully prepared, the role begins with a 2-week online induction that you can complete from home. This ensures you are familiar with the specific protocols and administrative systems used across the 17 sites before you begin your physical rounds.
