Sagentia Aviation is seeking a high-caliber Senior Instrument Flight Procedure (IFP) Designer to join our specialist consultancy in Bristol. We take pride in providing independent, expert-led solutions to both Civil and MoD clients. In this role, you will be more than a designer; you will be a technical leader and a strategic consultant, managing projects that range from complex safeguarding reviews to the design of entirely new flight procedures. Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership: Lead civilian airport projects, including new designs and the review of existing procedures.

Safety & Compliance: Conduct hazard identification meetings and provide safety case advice in collaboration with Safety SMEs to ensure total CDM and regulatory compliance.

Reporting: Deliver comprehensive civil airport design reports, user requirement documents, and operational assessments.

Business Development: Support the growth of our Bristol practice by identifying innovative solutions for clients and managing project delivery from inception to execution.

Multi-Domain Work: Pivot between civil and military projects, applying specialized skills to a wide variety of air systems operations.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

Certification: Must have completed recognized IFP Procedure Design courses in accordance with ICAO PANS-OPS Doc 8168 (ANI Basic and Advanced or equivalent).

Regulatory Approval: Must be a United Kingdom CAA Approved Procedure Designer.

Proven Track Record: Experience having Instrument Flight Procedures successfully published in a State Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP).

Industry Context: Substantial knowledge in air traffic management, aviation safety, or air systems operation.

Analytical Skills: Ability to navigate complex safeguarding requirements and provide innovative technical solutions to unique geographical or operational constraints.
