HR Advisor – Maternity Cover (18 Month Fixed Term Contract)
Location: Eckington, Sheffield / Other sites around the area will be required to travel to when needed
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday / 8:00am – 16:00pm / 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Fixed Term (18 Months) | Hybrid Working Available

In this position, you’ll act as a trusted partner to managers and employees – leading employee relations cases, developing people capability, and supporting a culture of growth, engagement, and wellbeing across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
• Be the first point of contact for line managers, providing clear, practical guidance on ER matters including performance, absence, disciplinary and grievance cases
• Manage employee relations cases from start to finish, ensuring fair, timely and compliant outcomes
• Coach and upskill managers, helping build confidence in handling people-related conversations and decisions
• Support talent processes such as succession planning, performance reviews and development pathways
• Partner with leaders to identify and nurture high-potential talent
• Contribute to engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives across the business
• Lead small-scale HR projects and recommend continuous improvements to policies, processes and systems
Skills & Experience Required:
• Proven experience in a similar HR Advisor or HR Generalist role, with hands-on case management expertise
• Strong capability in coaching and enabling managers to handle people issues effectively
• CIPD Level 3 or above qualified
• Experience supporting performance, talent or succession processes
• Track record of delivering people-focused initiatives that improve engagement, capability or efficiency
• Confidence working in a fast-paced, multi-site or international environment
