Job Overview
As a Home Care Support Worker, you will visit older clients in their own homes, providing companionship, personal care, help with meals, shopping and daily tasks. With flexible part-time hours, you’ll be carefully matched to clients, fully trained and introduced on your first visit for a reassuring, relationship-based start.

Responsibilities
• Provide companionship, conversation and emotional support.
• Support with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting.
• Prepare or cook meals and drinks to client preferences.
• Assist with light household tasks and shopping.
• Accompany clients to appointments or outings where required.
• Encourage independence, confidence and wellbeing at home.
• Keep simple records and follow agreed care plans.
• Work in line with safeguarding, dignity and confidentiality standards.

Requirements
• Kind, compassionate heart with a genuine desire to help older people.
• Reliable, trustworthy and respectful in clients’ homes.
• Flexible approach to working hours to meet client needs.
• Comfortable building professional friendships and chatting with clients.
• Willing to travel locally between visits.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Willing to complete an enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications
• No formal care qualifications required; full training provided.
• Any experience caring for a family member, volunteering or working in care is helpful.
• Able to follow training, policies and care plans.
• Good spoken English and clear communication skills.
