Job Title: HLTA (High-Level Teaching Assistant)
Location: Luton
Rate: 110 – 130 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Term time only

We’re working with a dedicated SEN school in Luton seeking an experienced, confident HLTA to join their team in September 2025. This is a brilliant opportunity to lead learning, support pupils with a range of needs, and play a key role in the classroom.
What We’re Looking For:
- HLTA qualification – essential
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (education or care settings)
- Strong behaviour management skills and an ability to adapt to a variety of SEN needs
- Confidence in delivering lessons and supporting teaching staff
- A proactive, positive, and flexible approach to working in a specialist environment
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting teaching and learning across the school, including leading lessons in the teacher’s absence
- Working with pupils 1:1 or in small groups to deliver targeted interventions
- Collaborating closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to meet individual learning needs
- Helping to create an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment
- Contributing to planning, assessment, and classroom organisation
