HGV Class 2 Driver – Dartford, Kent

FM Conway is looking for a reliable and skilled HGV Class 2 Driver to join their Water and Drainage Management team in Dartford, Kent. This role involves operating specialised vehicles to inspect, maintain, and clear drainage systems, responding to both routine and emergency issues. You’ll work as part of a two-person crew, ensuring water flows safely and infrastructure remains protected, contributing to community safety and environmental health.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles to carry out drainage inspections, maintenance, and clearance work

• Use high-pressure water jetting (HPWJ) and other specialised equipment for drain cleaning and repairs

• Respond promptly to emergency callouts, blockages, and overflows

• Record and report all work accurately using app-based systems, including photos/videos

• Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and efficient completion of tasks

• Support both planned and reactive maintenance across the highway drainage network

Required Skills & Experience

• Hold a valid Class 2 licence and Driver CPC

• Committed to health and safety and able to follow protocols

• Team player with reliability and adaptability

• Previous drainage industry experience is preferred but not essential

• Willingness to learn and undergo training on specialised equipment
