Job Overview:

We’re looking for a proactive and approachable Workplace Assistant to join our Newcastle office on a part-time basis . This role is a key part of the local operational team, helping to ensure the office runs smoothly and provides a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for all EY employees and visitors.

Job Responsibilities:
• Delivering a high level of customer service to all

 parties within the building and supporting with queries.
• Being first point of contact for workplace services.
• Supporting day-to-day office operations.
• Liaise with service providers and external contractors.
• Supporting new joiners, managing supplies and ensuring the office is always “set to go”.
• Help maintain high standards across facilities, meeting rooms, health & safety and environmental initiatives.
• Working closely with the Workplace Coordinator and other teams to resolve issues quickly, communicate effectively with staff and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
• Ensure maintenance reporting is updated and support in fire safety and business continuity.

• Some experience in facilities or office management.
• Confident in working independently
• Comfortable with interacting with people at all levels and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
