We are seeking a Health Informatics Analyst to operate at the vital intersection of healthcare data and advanced technology. In this role, you will contribute to high-impact AI training projects by leveraging your clinical data expertise to evaluate health information systems and ensure that data-driven insights are translated into meaningful improvements for clinical and administrative workflows.

As a Health Informatics Analyst, you will play a key role in the development of cutting-edge Large Language Models (LLMs) by analyzing and interpreting complex EHR and operational datasets. Your daily responsibilities will involve evaluating data pipelines, optimizing reporting tools, and creating sophisticated dashboards that bridge the gap between IT teams and clinicians. This remote, flexible contract offers the unique opportunity to lead teams on high-level AI projects, ensuring data quality and system performance while gaining direct exposure to the methodologies used to train the world’s most advanced AI models.

The Role of Informatics in AI Training

In this specific “Alignerr” context, your informatics background is applied to Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF) and data annotation:

  • EHR Interpretation: You will help AI models understand the nuances of clinical documentation, terminology (ICD-10, SNOMED CT), and patient care trends.

  • System Evaluation: Testing how AI handles sensitive healthcare information flow to ensure accuracy and efficiency in information retrieval.

  • Data Quality: Ensuring that the “ground truth” data used to train models is clinically sound and operationally relevant.
