Key Responsibilities

Personal Care: Assisting clients with essential daily tasks, including personal hygiene and dressing.
Medication Support: Assisting with, prompting, or the administration of medications in line with care plans.
Mobility Assistance: Providing practical support with mobility aids, including the safe use of hoists and Zimmer frames.
Social & Emotional Support: Building professional relationships to understand each client’s unique interests and providing social companionship to combat isolation.
Promoting Independence: Respecting the dignity of every individual while encouraging them to do as much for themselves as possible.

Requirements

Experience: No experience? No problem—newcomers are welcome! (6–12 months of experience is an advantage for a quick start).
Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for accurate reporting and client interaction.
Qualities: You must be caring, reliable, enthusiastic, and flexible.
Compliance: All roles are subject to an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
Transport: Drivers are preferred to help navigate the Medway area, but this is not essential.
