Bury College is seeking an ambitious and detail-driven Head of MIS to join our College Management Team. This is a critical strategic role responsible for the delivery of high-quality Management Information Services that underpin the financial and operational success of the College and its wider Directorate. You will be the architect of our data accuracy, ensuring robust funding returns, audit compliance, and the provision of analytical insights that drive executive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Oversight: Lead and manage the MIS function to maximize funding opportunities across FE, HE, and apprenticeship streams.

Data Integrity: Ensure continued data accuracy and oversee the submission of robust funding returns (such as the ILR) in full compliance with audit standards.

Reporting & Analysis: Deliver high-quality management information and analytical reports to influence key College-wide decisions.

Team Leadership: Develop, empower, and manage MIS teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Compliance: Act as the lead for audit readiness, ensuring all data systems meet external regulatory requirements.
