Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute innovative, high-quality menus that align with the restaurant’s fine dining concept and seasonal availability. Oversee all daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service during busy periods. Manage, train, mentor, and inspire a team of sous chefs, chefs de partie, and kitchen assistants. Maintain rigorous standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency across all dishes. Implement and enforce strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols (HACCP). Manage kitchen budgets, control food costs, and optimize inventory management and ordering. Source high-quality ingredients from reputable suppliers, building strong relationships. Collaborate with the restaurant management and front-of-house team to ensure seamless guest experiences. Contribute to the restaurant’s reputation for culinary excellence through creativity and dedication. Ensure efficient scheduling of kitchen staff and manage labor costs effectively. Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and kitchen etiquette. Stay updated on culinary trends, techniques, and industry best practices. Conduct regular performance reviews for kitchen staff. Minimize waste and ensure sustainable kitchen practices. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a fine dining or Michelin-starred establishment. Demonstrated creativity in menu design and execution with a strong understanding of classic and modern culinary techniques. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP principles. Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget management and cost control. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Passion for high-quality ingredients and a commitment to culinary excellence. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus. Culinary degree or equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable. A portfolio of work showcasing culinary artistry and innovation.
