Our 12-month programme gives you the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects alongside subject matter experts.
On joining, you will receive a starting salary of £34,000 per annum, plus a £1,000 welcome bonus. You’ll also be eligible for a £1,000 exit bonus upon successful completion of the programme. In addition, you may be eligible for a Temporary Accommodation Allowance (TAA), subject to specific criteria.
We encourage you to spend at least three days each week on site to integrate with your team and maximise your learning experience.
During the programme, you will:
- Be involved in a wide range of important programmes working closely within an Integrated Project Team (IPT), which brings together the cross-functional skillset of engineers and professionals from across the business. The aim of Project Management is to achieve the successful delivery of a solution that is compliant with Customer, Contractual and Legislative requirements.
- Our Project Leaders and Project Managers take responsibility for the effective planning and management of team performance and project schedule, cost, and quality. They will work closely with customers and internal functions; build good relationships; report progress, manage risks and take advantage of opportunities.
As a Project Management Graduate, you will:
- Support the delivery of effective project management services across the programme team ensuring all relevant project management processes are adhered to.
- Provide support to the IPT Lead in coordinating a consistent approach to project management reporting for customer contracts.
- Supporting the matrix team in capturing accurate records of actions/decisions during critical external meetings.
- Coordinating and issuing reports on all project actions outstanding, obtaining updates from action owners on a regular frequency.
- Supporting the Risk Management process across the specific Programme.
- Supporting the achievement of the forecasted cash, revenue & margin return; assisting in generating and validating estimates and proposals for new bids, under the direction of Bid Manager.
- Maintaining the team calendar to reflect important project-related dates, aiming to deconflict programme critical events e.g., PDR/CDR/TRR/Customer reviews.
What you’ll bring
Entry Requirements:
- A minimum of a 2:2 Bachelor’s/Integrated Master’s degree, or higher degree, such as MSc or PhD.
- Demonstrates a positive ‘can do’ attitude and determination to support a challenging programme in achieving outputs.
- A drive and passion in Project Management with a desire to grow into a future PM leader.
- Ability to operate in a matrix organisation across the IPT with multiple priorities.
- Personable and able to obtain updates from busy teams by required deadlines.
- Able to operate with minimal supervision, once task allocation is provided.
- A good understanding of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.
- Attention to detail to ensure an accurate record of events is captured at critical events.
For this role, acceptable degree disciplines include:
- All of our roles require Bachelors/Integrated Master’s degree, or a higher degree, such as an MSc or PhD. We will consider any subjects but Engineering, other STEM, Business or Project Management are preferred.

This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
