Global Payroll Implementation Analyst – Glasgow
A well-established and rapidly expanding global business is looking for a Global Payroll Implementation Analyst to join their Glasgow-based team. We are a company that bridges the gap between complex international legislation and seamless payroll delivery. In this role, you’ll join a collaborative, fast-paced environment where cultural diversity is celebrated and hybrid working is the standard, allowing you to build a global career while maintaining a healthy local balance.
About the Role
As a Global Payroll Implementation Analyst, you will be the “bridge” between international clients and our network of in-country payroll partners. This is a project-focused role where you will coordinate the end-to-end setup of new payroll systems across various territories. You won’t just be processing numbers; you’ll be managing timelines, conducting parallel runs, and troubleshooting transitions to ensure that every client’s global workforce is paid accurately and on time. You will also play a key role in building our central knowledge library, documenting international legislation, and driving process improvements to make our implementations more efficient.
Requirements and Skills
-
Payroll Experience: Solid background in payroll, ideally with exposure to international or global markets.
-
Implementation Knowledge: Previous experience supporting payroll transitions, parallel runs, or system implementations.
-
Project Coordination: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage project plans, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple priorities.
-
Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills to act as the main point of contact for clients and diverse in-country partners across different time zones.
-
Data Integrity: Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential payroll data with high attention to detail.
-
Qualifications: A relevant payroll or accounting qualification (CIPP or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
Why Join Us?
We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 – £32,000 and a modern hybrid working model that reflects our commitment to flexibility. This is an exceptional opportunity for a payroll professional to step away from repetitive monthly processing and move into a dynamic, project-led environment. You will receive structured support to develop your expertise in global legislation and project management, all while working within a supportive team that values innovation and proactive problem-solving.
