Band 7 General Sonographer – Scotland

About the Role

This is a high-level clinical position requiring an expert in diagnostic imaging. As a Band 7 Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing and reporting a wide range of scans within a busy NHS environment. The role demands high clinical autonomy and the ability to deliver accurate diagnostic information across multiple specialties. While the standard shift pattern is Monday–Friday, 08:30–16:30, our client is committed to flexibility and will consider various work patterns to suit the right candidate.

Role Requirements & Skills

To be successful in this position, you must possess the following:

Registration: Current and valid HCPC registration is essential.
Clinical Scope: Proficiency in General, Gynae, Small Parts, and Vascular ultrasound.
Experience: Previous experience at a Band 7 level within an NHS setting is highly preferred.
Soft Skills: Strong patient communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team.
