  • Collaborating with the Lead Physician on governance and quality enhancement projects.

  • Offering clinical mentorship and direction to administrative staff and health advisors.

Candidate Profile

  • Valid GMC GP Registration and inclusion on the Performers List.

  • A compassionate and professional demeanor that prioritizes patient and colleague wellbeing.

  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).

  • Valid Level 3 Safeguarding credentials for both Adults and Children.

  • Active membership with a recognized Medical Defence Organisation.

  • Exceptional time management skills and a flexible approach to clinical sessions.

  • Proven experience in a general practice setting with sharp diagnostic capabilities.

  • Technical competence in Microsoft Office, electronic medical records, and e-prescribing systems.

  • Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD) in line with revalidation cycles.

The Bupa Commitment

We provide a robust support framework, including dedicated administrative teams and protected time, ensuring you remain productive without compromising patient care. We prioritize your work-life balance and offer a training pathway designed to help you reach your maximum professional potential.

The inclusion of the Annual Health Services Bonus Scheme is a notable financial incentive not typically found in standard salaried GP contracts.

Career Path

GPs at Bupa have distinct pathways into clinical leadership, such as becoming a Lead Physician or Regional Clinical Director. Furthermore, the access to leadership courses and “protected” CPD allows physicians to specialize in occupational health, preventative medicine, or corporate wellness strategy within the wider global Bupa ecosystem.
