Job description

• Core responsibilities
• Patient diagnosis and treatment: Conduct physical exams, assess symptoms, and diagnose a variety of illnesses, from common ailments to chronic diseases.

Additional duties
• Counseling and education: Educate patients on their health concerns and provide counseling on preventative measures.
• Continuing education: Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date on medic

al knowledge, technology, and best practices.
• Quality improvement: Engage in initiatives to improve the quality of patient care and contribute to practice standards.
• Documentation: Provide certificates and other necessary medical documentation.
• Cultural competency: Demonstrate the ability to provide culturally safe care that meets the patient’s needs.
• Medication management: Prescribe medications to treat illnesses and manage chronic conditions.
• Preventive care: Provide health screenings, routine check-ups, and vaccinations to promote wellness and prevent disease.
• Patient history and records: Collect and maintain detailed patient medical histories and test results, often in electronic medical records.
• Referrals to specialists: Refer patients to other healthcare professionals and specialists when their needs exceed the GP’s scope of practice.
• Collaboration and coordination: Work with nurses, pharmacists, specialists, and other healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Ability to commute/relocate:
• Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
