The Trust is seeking a highly skilled Interim General Manager to lead the Surgery department.
About the Role
Duration: 4 months initially
Location: London
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to drive operational performance and quality of patient services across General Surgery.
Key Responsibilities
• Work with the Senior Management Team to ensure effective escalation and management of operational performance.
• Support the Surgical directorate to meet national and local performance standards, including General Surgery, Ophthalmology, ENT, Theatres, and ITU.
• Strengthen operational performance management by implementing performance improvement plans.
• Build relationships between divisions to enhance collaboration and productivity.
• Contribute to annual activity plans to ensure delivery of performance, quality, and financial expectations.
• Work alongside stakeholders to continually improve systems and processes.
Requirements
• Experience in leading teams and driving operational performance.
• Strong understanding of national and local performance standards.
• Ability to implement performance improvement plans and build relationships between divisions.
