Atomic Smash is a multi-award-winning, Certified B Corp agency based in Bristol, specializing in the strategic evolution of WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify platforms. We are looking for a Full Stack PHP Developer to join our team in the City of Bristol and contribute to our Always Evolving® approach. This is an on-site, full-time role for a developer who thrives on creating scalable, efficient digital solutions that balance commercial insight with technical excellence. Skills Required

  • Core Tech: Proficiency in Full-Stack Development (PHP, CSS, TWIG, Tailwind) and modern frameworks.

  • Platforms: Highly desirable experience with WordPress and WooCommerce.

  • Infrastructure: Deep understanding of web servers, code deployment, DNS, and domain management.

  • Experience: 3+ years of agency or freelance experience.

  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent organizational skills, and effective communication for both team and client interactions.

A Typical Day & Accountability

  • Client & Task Management: Communicating project progress directly to clients and staying organized via monday.com.

  • Platform Maintenance: Managing WordPress core and plugin updates, resolving conflicts, and responding to server or hosting issues.

  • Deployment: Provisioning new web projects and handling all server/domain-related inquiries independently.

  • Development Lifecycle: Continuously developing and deploying code, estimating new tickets, and improving local development environments.
