Step into the Dishoom world as a Friend of a Friend applicant, joining a big-hearted team that brings Bombay comfort to cafés across London. Whether your strengths lie in the kitchen, bar, floor or behind the scenes, you’ll help create warm, memorable experiences for every guest.

Role Overview

This is an open application route for people recommended by current Dishoom‑wallas (or their friends). You’ll be considered for a variety of full-time roles across the cafés, from front-of-house and bar to kitchen and support teams, with starting effective pay typically between £14–£20 per hour depending on role and experience.

Key Responsibilities

(Responsibilities vary by position, but may include:)

• Welcoming guests, managing bookings and delivering attentive, genuinely warm service
• Preparing and serving food or drinks to Dishoom’s exacting quality and presentation standards
• Keeping sections, bars, kitchens and guest areas clean, safe and well‑organised
• Working closely with your team to keep service smooth, supportive and fun
• Following all health, safety and food hygiene procedures
• Living Dishoom’s values of Seva (selfless service), respect and generosity in every shift

About You

• Passionate about hospitality, people and creating a sense of welcome
• Friendly, open and comfortable chatting with guests and teammates alike
• Reliable, hard‑working and happy to get stuck into busy services
• Keen to learn, take feedback and grow your skills through training
• Ready for full-time hospitality hours, including evenings and weekends where required
