Fraud Investigator
Job Description
Nationwide is looking for a motivated Fraud Investigator to join their Economic Crime team in Swindon. The role involves investigating potentially fraudulent account activity, providing guidance to customers, and supporting financial crime prevention. Full training is provided, making it suitable for those with or without prior fraud experience.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct investigations into potentially fraudulent account activity via inbound calls.

Use questioning techniques to identify fraud and advise customers to prevent future incidents.

Collaborate with fraud teams to mitigate risk and resolve complex cases.

Provide excellent customer service in high-pressure scenarios.

Maintain accurate records and follow regulatory procedures.
Person Specification

Strong verbal communication skills, ideally with telephony or customer service experience.

Working Pattern & Benefits

Full-time, rotational shifts covering core business hours (8am–8pm, Monday–Friday, one in three weekends).

Hybrid working with minimum two days per week at the Swindon office.
