Financial Administrator – 12-Month Fixed Term Contract
The Position
The chosen professional will operate within Stephenson Academy, serving as a critical connection between the individual school and the wider Trust. Your objective is to ensure the efficient management and support of the Academy’s expansion and ongoing achievements. Primary duties include:

Assisting Academies with the oversight of budgets, purchasing, and procurement processes, while providing monthly financial reports.

Confirming that all fiscal choices correspond with the Trust’s high-level strategic objectives.

Guaranteeing the Academy follows established purchasing protocols, managing the setup of new accounts, and maintaining the central contract documentation.

Collaborating with the Operations and Premises department to ensure adherence to IT, procurement, Fixed Asset management, and Estates governance.

Delivering guidance and instructional support to school personnel regarding financial systems and protocols to improve internal fiscal competencies.
