Field Sales Representative – Independent Bike Dealers (London)

Job Description

Turn your knowledge of London’s independent bike scene into real impact as a Field Sales Representative at Laka. You’ll be out on the road every day, building trusted relationships with bike shops and making Laka the insurance brand they recommend to their riders.

Role Overview

Based in London, you’ll manage and grow Laka’s network of independent bike dealer (IBD) partners. You’ll spend most of your time in-store—training staff, installing point‑of‑sale material, tracking performance and onboarding new shops—so that Laka’s products are confidently presented at the moment customers buy their bikes.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit and nurture existing London IBD partners, becoming their go‑to contact for Laka
• Prospect, pitch and onboard new independent bike shops using Laka’s Introducer model
• Train shop teams on how to position and explain Laka at point‑of‑sale
• Install and refresh POS materials, QR codes and digital signage to maximise visibility
• Track shop performance (activations, conversion, NPS and feedback) using HubSpot and internal tools
• Share retailer insights with Partnerships and Product teams to improve propositions and support
• Represent Laka’s values of fairness, transparency and community within the cycling ecosystem

About You

• Deep familiarity with London’s independent bike shop network and cycling culture
• Experience in field sales, retail partnerships or account management, ideally within cycling or sporting goods
• Natural relationship‑builder who can establish trust quickly in‑store
• Self‑starter who enjoys planning their own schedule and owning a territory
• Confident navigating London by bike or public transport, with a strong personal love for cycling
