EYFS Specialist Teaching Assistant – Knowsley

Prospero Teaching are looking to recruit an EYFS Specialist Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in the Knowsley area.
Position Details:
• Location: Knowsley
• Role: EYFS Specialist Teaching Assistant
• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: Ongoing, full-time
• Contract type: Temporary (with potential for long-term
Responsibilities:
• Supporting children within the EYFS setting, both in groups and on a 1:1 basis
• Assisting with classroom activities and the delivery of the EYFS curriculum
• Promoting a positive learning environment and encouraging pupil engagement
• Working closely with the class teacher and SEN staff to meet pupils’ individual needs
• Supporting with assessments, observations and maintaining pupil records
Requirements:
• Experience working within an EYFS setting is essential
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) preferred
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
• Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
• A valid, enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
