The Opportunity
The University of Hull is looking for a dynamic Entrepreneurship Co-ordinator to join the IDEAL project—an EU-funded initiative dedicated to transforming creative ideas into high-impact ventures. Working within our Knowledge Exchange (KE) Directorate, you will help bridge the gap between higher education and the creative industries (such as fashion and digital design). This role is central to our 2030 Strategic Plan, offering you the chance to drive regional innovation and foster a carbon-neutral, fairer future by empowering the next generation of pioneers.
Requirements and Skills

Contract type: Fixed term 14 months contract.

Hours: Part-time (22.5 hours per week).

Focus Areas: Immersive Technology including AR/VR, XR, 3D visualisations including 3D prototyping, 3D scanning; Computer Graphic, Computer Games and gamified experience, AI Driven Design, Digital Twin; Immersive Media.

Project Context: European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) Higher Education Initiative.
The Role
In this position, you will lead the delivery of specialized entrepreneurship support tailored for students and graduates working with immersive technologies. Your primary mission is to foster innovation and enterprise skills, guiding participants as they develop, launch, and scale their start-up ventures. By facilitating mentoring and industry engagement, you will ensure the IDEAL project delivers meaningful, real-world outcomes while strengthening the university’s innovation pipeline.
