Diamond Home Support-Glasgow is seeking an enthusiastic gardener who brings a “green fingers” approach to our clients’ outdoor spaces. We are a community-focused domestic support provider that values the tranquility and beauty a well-maintained garden provides. This part-time role is an ideal opportunity for a dedicated hobbyist or experienced gardener to transition their passion for nature into a rewarding professional path.

About the Role

In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for the general upkeep and aesthetic enhancement of private residential gardens. Your day-to-day will involve essential maintenance such as weeding, pruning, and lawn care, alongside seasonal planting to ensure year-round vibrancy. Working independently with the client’s own tools, you will serve as a reliable steward of their outdoor environment, ensuring every flowerbed and hedgerow is kept in pristine condition.

Requirements

• Proven Passion: Experience maintaining your own garden or a friend/family member’s garden, or equivalent community gardening experience.

• Plant Knowledge: A basic understanding of different plant species, soil types, and their care requirements.

• Physical Fitness: Capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions, including bending, lifting, and standing for long periods. NO work at height, tree felling or branch loping.

• Reliability: Punctual, organized, and capable of working independently.

• Tools: Use clients tools & equipment

• License: Full clean driving license, and car essential.

• Communication: Ability to fluently communicate in spoken English with the customers.

• References: Be able to provide 2 references.
