Core Requirements and Skills

Full GMC registration with a license to practice.

MBBS (or equivalent) and MRCP.

JAG accreditation in OGD is essential (JAG accreditation in Colonoscopy is highly desirable).

Demonstrated UK experience in Gastroenterology and Endoscopy.

Competency in upper GI endoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy.

Ability to provide four service lists per week (including one inpatient list) and participate in triage sessions.

Interest in audit, research, and leadership within a clinical setting.
