Lift Service Engineer Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Lift Service Engineer to join our Midlands team based in Birmingham and surrounding areas.

As a Lift Service Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
• Servicing and maintaining customer lifts
• Repairing or replacing lift parts
• Responding to mechanical failures and breakdowns

Additionally, you will be responsible for carrying out safety checks and risk assessments, planning and managing your workload around assigned jobs, maintaining van stock and ordering supplies through our supply chain, recommending parts and equipment that need to be quoted or ordered to keep the lifts compliant, and working out of hours on a pro rata basis.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:
• Excellent knowledge of lift maintenance and repair techniques
• A high level of mechanical aptitude
• The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

You will also need to possess a valid driving license and be willing to travel extensively throughout the region.
