Electrician (Hospital Vessel) – Northern Marine Manning Services

We are currently seeking five skilled Electricians to join a vital hospital vessel for a high-priority maintenance period. About the Role
This is a three-month fixed-term contract starting in June 2026. As an Electrician (ETR), you will be a key member of the engineering team during a critical maintenance window. Your primary focus will be the inspection, repair, and upkeep of the vessel’s electrical systems, ensuring maximum reliability for the ship’s medical and navigational infrastructure. You will work in a fast-paced environment that demands technical precision, a strong commitment to STCW safety standards, and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical faults to keep this essential hospital vessel fully operational.
Requirements
Experience Required:

Sea Service: At least six months of proven experience working as an Electrician (ETR) on sea-going vessels.
Certifications Required:

Identity & Medical: Valid Passport, Seaman’s/Discharge Book, and an ENG 1 or ILO-equivalent Medical Certificate.

Qualifications: STCW Certificate of Competency (COC) Electro-Technical Rating A-III/7.

Safety Training: Full suite of STCW Basic Safety Training (PST, FP&FF, EFA, PSSR).

Security: STCW Security Awareness and Designated Security Duties (A-VI/6 & A-VI/6-2).

Medical Care: STCW Medical First Aid (A-VI/4-1).

Vaccinations: Evidence of full vaccination coverage, including Hep A & B, Diphtheria, MMR, Tetanus, Typhoid, Covid, and Yellow Fever.
