Electrical Tester Role

As an Electrical Tester, you will be responsible for carrying out EICR testing and remedial works in communal areas and domestic units.
• Carrying out EICR testing and remedial works in communal areas and domestic units to ensure electrical safety and compliance with regulations.
• Completing small installation works, including 3-phase distribution board replacements, to maintain a safe and efficient electrical infrastructure.
• Submitting accurate reports and certification to stakeholders, highlighting any necessary repairs or upgrades.
• Liaising professionally with residents, housing associations, and colleagues to provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Maintaining high safety and quality standards in line with BS7671 to protect people and assets from electrical hazards.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
• NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification (or equivalent) to demonstrate technical knowledge and competence.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382-18) to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Inspection & Testing (C&G 2391 or equivalent) to conduct thorough and accurate electrical inspections.
• Strong experience with 3-phase systems and fault finding to identify and rectify complex electrical issues.
• Confident with reporting, communication, and time management to meet deadlines and deliver results.
• Full UK Driving Licence to facilitate travel and on-site work.
• Based in or commutable to London / South East to enable regular attendance and participation in team activities.
