Role Overview
As an independent driver or courier using the Uber app, you decide when and how long you work. Log in on Saturdays, Sundays or any other time, accept trip or delivery requests, follow in‑app navigation and earn per completed journey, keeping full control of your schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Use the Uber app to accept ride or delivery requests in Liverpool and nearby areas
- Pick up and drop off riders safely and courteously, or collect and deliver food and parcels on time
- Follow in‑app GPS directions and comply with local traffic laws and parking rules
- Maintain your vehicle or bike in a safe, roadworthy condition
- Provide polite, professional service at the doorstep or kerbside
- Manage your time and online hours to meet your own earning goals
Requirements to Drive (Rides)
- At least 21 years old
- Valid UK driving licence and appropriate insurance
- Eligible, roadworthy vehicle that meets Uber’s local requirements
- Private-hire driver licence and vehicle licence from a council where Uber is licensed
- Valid MOT certificate and vehicle logbook
- Ability to pass all local background and right-to-work checks
Requirements to Deliver (Courier)
- At least 18 years old
- Access to a car, motorbike or bicycle suitable for local deliveries
- Valid driving licence and delivery-appropriate insurance for motorised vehicles
- Ability to meet local regulatory requirements and right-to-work checks
