Door Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Door Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests while effectively managing any potential risks. This position requires strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of conduct.

Duties
• Monitor and control access to the venue, ensuring that only authorised individuals enter.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect any suspicious behaviour or activities.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage to property.
• Utilise surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to monitor activities within and around the venue.
• Respond promptly to incidents, providing first aid assistance when necessary and liaising with emergency services as required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times while interacting with guests and staff.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, accidents, or unusual occurrences for management review.
• Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure comprehensive coverage of the venue.

Qualifications
• Previous experience in a security role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with a Bodycam
• First aid certification is desirable; willingness to undertake training if not already certified.
• Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
