Domestic Supervisor

NHS Lanarkshire is looking for a proactive Domestic Supervisor to join “Team Lanarkshire” in the Hamilton Locality. In this role, you will be the driving force behind the domestic services function at Udston Hospital and Beckford Lodge, ensuring our facilities remain safe, welcoming, and clinically clean. By effectively managing staff and resources, you will directly contribute to infection control and the high standard of care we provide to our population of 655,000.

Core Requirements and Skills

• Numerate, literate and practical with good interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of Infection Control, Manual Handling, Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and C.O.S.S.H.

• Completed Management of Aggression module and knowledge of Payroll Systems.

• Experience of First Line Management (provided as personal development).

• Knowledge of Human Resource Policies and Protocols.

• Experience working as a domestic within a preferred Public Sector environment.

• Basic IT Skills.

• Full, valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence required to travel between locations.

• Departmental Induction, Orientation, Domestic Supervisors Training, and Elementary Food Hygiene (all provided internally).
