Requirements and Skills

  • Experience managing digital platforms including websites, email marketing (e.g. Mailchimp), and social media channels.

  • Passion for creative storytelling and knowledge of latest digital trends.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to brand consistency.

  • Good communication and collaboration skills.

  • Insight into data protection as it relates to digital communications.

  • Experience working in the charity, education, or youth sector (Desirable).

  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) (Desirable).

  • Basic knowledge of SEO and digital best practice (Desirable).

Role Overview

In this role, you will be the engine behind Mission 44’s digital identity, managing the communications calendar and ensuring a consistent flow of impactful content across the website, social media, and email newsletters. You will split your time between hands-on content production—designing branded assets and crafting compelling copy—and strategic analysis, using tools like Google Analytics to optimize reach and engagement. Working closely with the Senior Communications Manager, you will also monitor sector trends and manage internal reporting, ensuring all digital activity remains timely, compliant, and deeply aligned with the charity’s mission to empower the next generation.
