Job description
• Design and develop fire alarm system layouts in compliance with local codes and standards, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for fire alarm projects, factoring in materials, labor, and equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to finalize project specifications and timelines, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
• Utilize advanced design software and tools to create detailed schematics and plans for fire alarm installations.
• Review and interpret technical specifications and drawings to provide insightful input during project planning phases.
• Compile and submit necessary documentation for regulatory approvals and permits required for fire alarm installations.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials and adherence to project schedules.
• Provide technical support and training to installation teams, ensuring they understand the design intent and installation requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and legislation affecting fire alarm systems to continuously enhance design practices.
