Abbotsford Preparatory School is seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our leadership team. Role Overview

• Position: Deputy Nursery Manager

• Working Pattern: Full Time (Mon–Fri), All Year Round

• Salary: Competitive, based on experience

• Start Date: Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Support the Nursery Manager in the daily administration and smooth running of the setting.

• Environment Management: Maintain a safe, caring, and stimulating educational environment that aligns with our high standards.

• Staff Development: Supervise, mentor, and inspire nursery practitioners, assisting with training, appraisals, and professional growth.

• Pedagogical Oversight: Ensure the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children through the expert application of the EYFS framework.

What We Are Looking For

• Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 Early Years Childcare qualification (or higher).

• Expertise: Deep knowledge of EYFS regulations and a proven track record of maintaining compliance and “Outstanding” practice.
