Job Overview
This role involves supporting and maintaining Dell hardware at a client site, encompassing hardware diagnostics, part replacements, firmware upgrades, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and repair Dell server hardware to ensure seamless operations.
• Replace or reseat components as needed to prevent system downtime.
• Run diagnostic tests and upload logs for validation purposes.
• Perform firmware upgrades to enhance system performance.
• Manage onsite parts inventory (inbound/outbound) efficiently.
• Document service activity and part replacements accurately.
• Coordinate with internal teams for escalations and scheduling requirements.
