Delivery Driver and Furniture Installer

We are currently recruiting for a full time Delivery Driver and Furniture installer. We are able to offer ongoing full time work, with immediate start based in Hull.

You will be an active team member, tasked with:
• Giving the best customer service possible ensuring an accurate and efficient installation of quality furniture on a client’s premises
• Driving through the UK to make deliveries

Location

Hull

The candidate will be required to travel nationwide with the occasional overnight stay

Hours

When working at our facility, on average Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

Key Responsibilities:
• Delivery driving thought out the UK and install furniture
• Safe driving throughout mainland UK
• Considering the safety of yourself and others while working in different environment
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicle
• Reading plans / diagrams of furniture in order to distribute and install in the correct place
• Being in effective part of the term, with the potential to manage a team in the future
• Delivering, unpacking and assembling furniture
• Documenting & reporting issues
• Keeping vehicle clean and tidy

Skills Required:
• A current driving licence (with no more than 3 points) is essential
• Experience with furniture installation would be advantage
• Must be able to work on their own as well as part of a team
• You must be trustworthy, reliable, flexible and have good time management skills
• CSCS or other work related accreditations would be an advantage

The Successful Candidate:
• Must be able to effectively communicate with team members – have the ability to follow verbal and written directions and to be able to operate both independently and as part of a team environment
• Will be trustworthy, responsible, flexible and willing to travel anywhere own the UK
• Induction training along with any other training will be provided along with branded clothing and PPE
