A long-standing Client of ours in Mayfair is looking for 1 or 2 Carer(s) for the daytime who can look after her elderly Mother. The candidate must have a min of 2-3 years carer experience, ideally more. If you do not drive, the client’s chauffeur will pick you up and drop you off, but you have to live in London for this to be arranged.
The role is live out.
The shifts are Monday to Sunday daytime (7 days cover). If one Carer cannot cover the whole week, then they are considering employing two Carers who can share the shifts between themselves. The shifts are normally 8h and the hours are normally 3pm to 11pm.
The client has a lot of household staff and also other carers but due to the virus situation, they are short on care staff and hence needing another one. They are mostly in need of daytime help at the moment.
The client needs a dedicated individual who will treat her parents as their own and be compassionate, kind and give tender loving care. They should have patience to deal with fear anxiety which at time brings mood swings.
Duties: Carer duties only as the house is fully staffed. Bathing and personal care for the elderly lady, hoisting (experience with hoisting is ideal), taking her around the house in a wheelchair, massaging legs if required etc etc
At the moment, the client is in a private hospital in London (because of own health issues, not Covid related) so your shifts will be there, until she comes back home.
Work is simple but hard because it needs perfection and efficiency to follow processes laid out by our client for her mother.
Requirements
Very good Carer/ nurse experience
Ideally able to drive but not a MUST because their chauffeur can pick you up and drop you off if you live in London
