Customer Service, Personal Banker (12-Month FTC)

Join NatWest Group in Dundee as a Personal Banker. In this 12-month fixed-term role, you will be the face of the bank, acting as the primary point of contact for our retail customers. You aren’t just processing transactions; you are a financial guide, helping people navigate their daily banking needs while supporting them in reaching their broader financial aspirations.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about people and looking to launch a career in finance. You will receive comprehensive training and be supported to achieve a Foundation Certificate in Responsible Banking from the Chartered Banker Institute, a qualification that sets the standard for ethical and sustainable banking practices in the modern era.

Your Daily Impact

  • Customer Advocacy: Engage in proactive conversations to understand each customer’s unique situation, providing support for everything from daily transfers to helping them navigate life’s big financial moments.

  • Service Excellence: Handle general banking requests—including payments, balance enquiries, and account transfers—with high precision and a positive attitude.

  • Digital Support: Educate customers on the diverse ways they can bank with us, specifically highlighting our award-winning digital services to make their lives easier.

  • Collaborative Advice: Identify opportunities to help customers with simple financial products and collaborate with specialized teams (e.g., mortgages or protection) for more complex needs.
