Customer Experience Agent

Bunch

Job description

At The Bunch, we believe managing home bills should take minutes, not months of chasing. We’ve built the smartest way to handle shared household costs by consolidating everything—energy, broadband, water—into one fixed monthly payment. We are a fast-growing, rebellious team based in Bristol, looking for a Customer Experience Agent who is bold, human, and obsessed with making things simpler. You won’t just be answering tickets; you’ll be the voice of our brand, solving real-world problems and helping us fix the root causes of customer stress so our users can get their “sanity” back.

Role Overview

As a Customer Experience Agent, you’ll be the voice of Bunch, helping customers get the most from their services while resolving issues with speed, empathy, and ownership. You’ll handle customer queries and complaints from start to finish, ensuring every interaction strengthens trust and delivers a great experience. You’ll spot patterns in what customers tell you, share insights with the team, and help us fix the root causes of problems—not just the symptoms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Excellent Support: Respond to queries across email, phone, and chat with empathy and speed, owning issues from first contact to full resolution.

  • Handle Complaints with Care: Investigate issues thoroughly, rebuild trust by owning mistakes, and manage resolutions within regulatory SLAs.

  • Be the Customer’s Voice: Identify recurring themes (e.g., “five customers had the same billing confusion”) and share insights to improve our systems and communications.

  • Drive Advocacy: Turn frustrated customers into brand advocates through clarity, follow-through, and genuine care.

You’re A Great Fit If You

  • Genuinely care about helping people and solving problems.

  • Communicate clearly: no jargon, no confusion, just straight answers.

  • Take ownership: you see things through and don’t leave customers hanging.

  • Stay calm under pressure and can juggle multiple conversations confidently.

  • Are curious and adaptable: eager to learn the business inside out and improve how we work.

  • Can handle complexity: billing queries and supplier coordination don’t phase you.

Rewards & Culture

We offer a supportive, high-energy environment with a salary of £27,350–£28,000 and a hybrid working model (3 days a week in our Bristol office). Our benefits are designed to give you back your time and peace of mind, including 25 days holiday plus your birthday off, a dedicated learning and development budget, and a 3-hour monthly ‘breakout block’ to catch up on your own life admin.

You’ll also enjoy the Vitality Health package (with perks like free weekly coffees and gym discounts), enhanced family leave, and a cycle-to-work scheme. We are a dog-friendly office with a great culture and quarterly social events to celebrate our wins. If you need reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process, just let us know—we’re here to work with you.
