Crewing – Festivals, Concerts, Stadiums, TV and Radio Studios

Connection Crew, a multi-award-winning crewing company, is recruiting part-time crew members in London. We provide talented teams to solve complex production challenges, building stages, backdrops, props, lighting, and sound rigs at music venues, TV studios, exhibition centres, and outdoor events.

We are a Social Enterprise committed to creating opportunities for people facing barriers to work, providing training, mentoring, and flexible employment. Our mission also includes sustainability practices to reduce environmental impact across our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build sets, stages, and props for festivals, concerts, and events

  • Load and unload equipment, furniture, and AV systems

  • Install modular systems on construction sites

  • Support film, TV, and exhibition setups

  • Work across multiple venues, adapting to daily tasks and schedules

Requirements

  • Positive attitude, punctual, reliable, and team-oriented

  • Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting

  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Effective communication skills

  • Willingness to learn and follow health & safety protocols

Useful Experience (not essential)

  • Manual handling or heavy lifting experience

  • Audio-visual or events industry experience

  • Driving licence, commercial vehicle experience

  • Operation of telehandlers, forklifts, cherry pickers, or scissor lifts

  • Health & safety certifications: CSCS, SSSTS, SMSTS, PASMA

Contract Options

  1. Self-Employed Contract – freelance, flexible hours, UTR required, paid London Living Wage

  2. The Academy (PAYE) – employment through PAYE with scheduled shifts
